Jack Krauser Beta

This image was sent to me because apparently it was the mercenary screen that appeared in the RE4 beta.
Unfortunately I haven't been successful in locating any additional information about this but it's plain to see that the character is infact Rolento from the Final Fight and Street Fighter series.
Apparently it was this character that inspired them to make Krauser and if you look at the pictures below it's easy to see why.

If you are familiar with the game/character you will know that he is a former member of the special forces unit, the Red Berets.
Rolento wears a very militant outfit with weapon belts (where he keeps his grenades) going over his shoulders and a red beret on his head. He has a red scarf under his worn yellow outfit and fights with a green staff.
I have also seen pictures of him in a camouflage suit but I have no idea if this is a costume that can be unlocked or just concept art.
However, more interesting is the fact he has a large scar which covers the left side of his face.

Also, slightly related is that apparently Capcom also got the idea for Nemesis from a Street Fighter character - Sagat.
However if you look at the image below he also bears an uncanny likeness to our favourite Commando.
Notice also the large scar across his chest ;)
