Costume

When we first see Chris he's wearing the S.T.A.R.S standard uniform. It consists of a white undershirt (with the S.T.A.R.S label on the left arm), a green vest, grey pants, black combat boots, black kneepads and black fingerless gloves. In addition to this Chris also has a survival knife strapped over his left shoulder (facing downwards for easy removal), a gun strap on his right thigh, and utility belt for holding things such as bullets. This outfit remains consistent for both Classic and REmake.

Next time we see Chris (although it's techincally not part of the timeline) is Resident Evil 2: Extreme Battle Mode. Here Chris is wearing almost an exact replica of his S.T.A.R.S uniform, with a few minor changes. For one, the back of his vest has a design on it ('Made in Heaven' with an angel underneath), and he's also wearing elbowpads along with his kneepads. Everything else remains the same.

By the time of Code Veronica Chris has ditched the traditional uniform, but remains with something very similar - this time consisting wholly of army green, with a black vest over the top. The S.T.A.R.S logo remains on the arms (as well as R.P.D S.T.A.R.S on the front and back of the vest), and the fingerless gloves and gun strap remain. However the kneepads and survival knife are gone, as is the utility belt (perhaps useless because of all the pockets on the vest). Although by this stage Chris is ex-S.T.A.R.S, he makes it clear where his affiliation still lies. However, he has gone for a more army look (perhaps homage to his Air Force days?) instead of the police look of his earlier uniform.

When Chris turns up in Umbrella Chronicles for the new Russian Umbrella Facility Scenario it is the first time we see him without a S.T.A.R.S. uniform. His new ensemble is very similar to what he wears in the first Resident Evil with the green sleeveless body armour jacket although this time he is wearing a long sleeved jersey underneath which looks like it is made from a thermal fabric (well suited for the conditions of Russia). His pants are also the same style grey in Resident Evil 1 and also look to be made from the same thermal fabric as his jersey. Also due to the climate change, Chris is seen wearing gloves with full fingers for the first time. The knee-pads have also made a return and instead of wearing his knife strapped to his vest, it is strapped to his thigh. The jacket has various pouches and where he usually has his knife he is wearing a communications radio. He wears a weapon holster on his right thigh and a rather bulky utility thigh belt type holster on his left thigh.

Alternate Costume

The costume that started it all - the Made in Heaven bomber jacket. Available when you complete Classic, this outfit is fairly straightforward. A dark brown bomber jacket with the slogan 'Made in Heaven' scrawled across the back, and a logo of an angel floating over some bombs underneath. The pants are light brown, as is the undershirt, and the shoes are dark brown. Brown all around.

A slightly more high tech costume is also available in the Director's Cut. This one comes with army green pants, a standard white t-shirt, black boots, gloves and elbow pads, and special shoulder pads. Also comes with a utility belt for bullet storage. This is a costume ready for the vigours of zombie fighting.

Remake has one last special costume for Chris, this time based upon Brad Pitt in The Mexican. This one consists of a red shirt (complete with Made in Heaven on the back and the S.T.A.R.S. logo on the arms), a white longsleeved undershirt, brown kahki pants, black gloves, red and white sneakers, a black beanie, sunglasses and even a metallic necklace. Chris looks more suited for snowboarding than zombie fighting, but it's still got the belt to hold his gun, and his knife is now strapped to his left leg.

Deadly Silence gives us this fantastic ninja ensemble. Entirely silver with highlights of gold trim, it looks to be made mostly from a mixture of mesh body armour and possibly a silk overcoat. In addition to the traditional knife case on his left shoulder, Chris also gets a face mask and headband.
